The Nike “Soldier” line
was originally installed as a lower priced, LeBron James-team focused
shoe, but it’s always been more personal than that. Up to the initiation
of the LeBron VII P.S.
two years ago, Bron has used the platform of the playoffs to promote
that year’s Solider shoe. With signature level product line
segmentations covering both regular and post season now, we likely won’t
see LeBron wearing the newest Zoom Soldier VI on NBA hardwood in this
Lockout-shortened season. But will it make the trek to London to become
part of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games?
Here’s a first look at two Fall 2012 colorways in the Nike Zoom Soldier VI:
- White/University Red 525015-101
- Wolf Grey/Cool Grey-Black 525015-002
The Zoom Soldier VI takes some design cues from the flagship LeBron 9,
most prominently in the shape and design of the outsole and an
extension of the Hyperfuse composite construction into the team-slanted
line.
Two giant sized logos leave no room for interpretation on whos team
exactly you’re playing for, with LeBron’s new-this-season, L-Crown-J
personal logo wrapping the midfoot support strap and wreathing the
lateral forefoot.
If you’re thinking typical “team” pricing on this shoe though, think
again. The Zoom Soldier VI follows the elevated price points of its
bigger bro LeBron 9 and the rest of Nike Basketball‘s product offerings into next year with a raised 120€ sticker.
